Simple Sampler
Have you ever wanted to learn Hardanger, but found the projects too intimidating? This Simple Sampler will get you started. The graph is in color, to show exactly where to stitch what (klosters in one color, needleweaving in another color, etc.), with large thick black lines to show where to cut. The project is stitched with white thread on colored large count linen, to make it easy to see the stitches. Extensive, fully illustrated and diagrammed instructions for the kloster blocks, buttonhole edging, eyelet, woven bars and dove's eyes. I teach this project in 3 hours, but you can do it by yourself!
Finished size is 3 ½" x 3 ½" on 18 ct. linen, 60 x 60 stitches
