Marilyn’s Garden
Flowers and butterflies abound in this small counted canvas
design, stitched exclusively with Divine Threads overdyed
rayon pearls. Milanese pinwheels, ridged spider webs and
eyelets “flowers” are spread among waffle and rice stitch
“fences”, with stem stitch vines and French knot flowers
trailing through the garden. The large crescent hearts
center the garden, while Rhodes butterflies provide color
and whimsy, all stitched on canvas with a hand-dyed look.
