Hardanger Hydrangea Scarf
I was inspired by the lovely knitted scarves we’ve all seen lately to create a scarf for stitchers to show their talents. This scarf features silk ribbon hydrangeas with the basic Hardanger elements (klosters, buttonhole edge, needleweaving and dove’s eyes). The scarf is 54” long by about 5” wide, stitched on soft white 28 ct. Jobelan using Caron Collection Impressions, DMC #12 pearl cotton in 2 colors and YLI 4mm and 7mm silk ribbon in 5 colors. Instructions include options for shortening the scarf or omitting some of the stitching. Although this is a very large project, it is very repetitive. Cut the fabric across the width of the goods to get the required length.

Finished size 4 ¾” x 54”, design size 134 x 1508

DD-046K – Kit with threads and silk ribbon (no fabric)
DD-046C – Chart only
