Black Magic
Work some magic with your needle in this counted canvas design. Black Magic features
a #8 braid, Bolero Black, created by Kreinik for this design. Dimension
is added with 2 cutout sections, appliqués and a layer of black tulle
drifting over the stitches; complete instructions and exhaustive stitch
diagrams are included. In addition to the Bolero Black, the design uses overdyed
cotton flosses from Gentle Arts, Crescent Colours and Weeks; #5 and #8
pearl cotton; Rainbow Gallery Neon Rays; and Kreinik #12, #8 and #4
braids, 1/8” ribbon and 1/16” ribbons. Shown on 18 ct. black canvas,
with 24 ct. black Congress cloth for the appliqués.
Finished size is about 14 ¾” x 13 ¼”
